Was very surprised that the SA app did not have a red exclamation mark on the Studio Strings Pro library indicating the library needed to be located. Moved the successfully unpacked folder back to it's original drive. The library was already successfully registered in Native Access, and since the filepath will now be the same as when it was registered, I should not have to change anything in Native Access or Kontakt Free Player?ĭoes this sound Kosher? Have I missed anything? Would anyone be willing to speculate as to why this would not unpack properly on the same drive that is was downloaded to? I've asked Angus for confirmation of how to go about this exactly, but I'm too excited to get started, so hopefully can find the answers here on the forum. My plan going forward is to return it to the original SSD. The app sees the library as installed - finally! lm files, to a separate external SSD which I repurposed from my wife : ) Clicked install in the SA app and it worked! Additionally, the SA app no longer shows the "install" button and the cogwheel is no longer grayed out. Had to drag the folder that wasn't unpacking correctly, the one with the 3000+. I thank everyone in advance for any help.īefore I celebrate Studio Strings Pro seems to finally be installed. I have my first major project since Covid began commencing this week and I must get this resolved. I'm reaching out to the collective in hopes of finding a solution. My external SSD had more than ample free space, over 600 GB available. I have the latest version of the Spitfire App, Native Access and free Kontakt Player all installed. I have subsequently tried this a total 4x now with no change.

The steps suggested thus far are to run the install again but first allowing full disk access to Spitfire App and Logic. Looking at the Spitfire App the install button for this library is still present, as if it were not installed. Im files are alternating, very small text files and much larger text files. The Documentation, Instruments, Samples folders and one "Spitfire Studio Strings Professional.nictn" are listed after these 3500. When I opened the Studio Strings Pro folder there are over 3500. Looking at my external SSD the folder for Studio Strings Pro is present right there next to the Herrman Toolkit and Tundra folders.

Trying to load any Studio Strings Pro patch Kontakt player diplays a missing content dialogue box. The library banner and all instruments and folders are present in the free Kontakt Player browser. Opened up a project in Logic to give it the library a quick perusal. Registered it Native Access without issue. I clicked install and the unzipping/merging process seemed to go as normal. After more than 15 hrs, Studio Strings Pro downloaded. The Herrman Toolkit downloaded and installed without issue. I believe they will compliment each other for my style of composing. If you want to uninstall one these apps, please use above mentioned methods or tools.Hi all - took advantage during the sale to spend money I don't have for the Herrman Toolkit and Studio Strings Pro.

So, in short, the Uninstall option is not available for certain default Windows 10 apps. You can either use the PowerShell (see how to uninstall default Windows 10 apps) or popular tools like CClenaer to remove default apps (see three tools to remove default apps from Windows 10). If you are wondering how one has to remove these apps from Windows 10, you will glad to know that there are a couple of ways out there to remove these default apps. Alarms & Clock, Calculator, Camera, Mail and Calendar, Maps, Messaging, People, Photos, Store, Sticky Notes, Weather, Voice Recorder, and Xbox are some of the apps that you cannot uninstall via Settings. Only apps that are crucial to the operating system don’t show an Uninstall option in Settings. That doesn’t mean that the Uninstall button or option is grayed out for all default apps. Windows 10 doesn’t offer an option (at least, not yet) to uninstall certain native apps.
